Project Director a.i.

On behalf of a Dutch innovative water company Kolk Water Consultancy fills the position of a senior Interim Project Director since October 2017.

During this time the company is supported to win and execute international multidisciplinairy waste water projects with a value of over EUR 100M.

Kolk Water Consultancy brings extensive turn key project experience working close with different engineering offices in an international setting.

Egypt 2017/2018: a turn-off wastewater installation or an industrial park with a capacity of 26,000 m3/day, consisting of water intake screening, drum filtration, buffer basins, DAF flotation, biology, sludge drying, sludge digestion, biogas treatment, biogas generators, preparation for expansion (+ 100%). The challenge was the concrete box construction using the caisson method because of the weak subsoil.

Germany 2018-2020: turnkey waste water installation at a refinery consisting of 3 streets biology (anaerobic and aerobic) of 1500 m3/h each street with a round clarifier and effluent sand filtration. The challenge was the application of high-quality concrete and steel to refinery standards.

The Netherlands 2020/2021: 2 turnkey wastewater installations in which hormone-containing wastewater is treated with ozone, at a pharmaceutical company in Oss. Pre-assembled in so-called box frames. The challenge was to realize the project within the tight schedule during the corona crisis.

Europe 2021-2024: a turnkey waste water installation for an industrial park.

Europe 2023- ongoing: Biogas installation in the South of Europe.
