Biogas installations

Biogas is being produced on an ever-increasing scale. The plants are becoming more large-scale multifunctional factories. In these factories, a wide range of products are extracted from vegetable and garden waste, manure and slaughterhouse waste by means of anaerobic digestion and the subsequent reprocessing of the residual flows.
The resulting biogas is converted into electricity in biogas engines. Or it is further purified into LBG Liquified Biogas or send as gas to grid. The CO2 that is released is increasingly being upgraded to LC02, which can be used in the soft drink industry. The digestate (the liquid residual fraction from the digesters) is can be spread over agriculture and grassland, but this is more and more not allowed anymore.
It is therefore economically feasible to continue to treat this digestate further. clean water is extracted and valuable products for the fertilizer industry such as Ammonium sulphate, Ammonium nitrate, solutions rich in potassium and solid granules or pellets.
